Where everyone comes together.
Someone is already at the Garden Bar; others arrive from the pool or the houses, and a drink becomes dinner without anybody having to call the group together. Tuscan Barn is the social heart of the estate: generous enough for an occasion, relaxed enough for breakfast the morning after.
Three great guillotine windows lift until almost the entire garden façade disappears. The Hall takes on the feeling of an open courtyard, with the garden on one side, the monumental fireplace on the other and the professional kitchen just beyond.
Tuscany appears through terracotta, colour and a little theatre rather than theme. Animals cross the tiled floor of the Garden Bar and climb the fireplace in the Hall. Above, two very different bedrooms sleep four: one borrows its woven pattern from a favourite shirt and looks south across the valley; the other, tucked above Shepherds Pantry, is wrapped in dahlias.
